Members of the Ministry of Deacons and Trustees are appointed by the Pastor to assist in serving the congregation. Deacons and Trustees help to care for the physical plant, visit the sick and serve the bereaved. They have the duty of preparing and issuing Holy Communion and the ordinances of Holy Baptism.
 
Deacons serve directly from the Pastor’s office and are individually involved in a wide variety of church ministries. Trustees serve to oversee the finances of the church and provide a proper and accurate accounting of income and expenses as well as the disposition of the physical plant.
